This is a firm vest for training days. It zips up the front and hooks closed alongside the zip, which means you can set the fit tighter or looser each time without wrestling with it, and get out of it in seconds afterwards. It's cut to wear over a sports bra, with open shoulders so your arms move freely.
The hold comes from plastic support strips through the body — not steel, so it flexes when you twist and doesn't dig in when you bend — and from the closure, which you control. It stays put during a weights session or a class. It's not designed for running: it's a warm, firm layer, and it feels like one.

This runs warm by design — it's a thick, structured layer, and it will make you sweat more than the same session without it. That's all it does: it holds firm through the middle while you move. It doesn't change your shape underneath and we won't pretend otherwise. Go by your waist measurement on the size guide, not your top size. If you want something light and cool for cardio, our sports bra and a normal top is the honest answer.
